How to I post Irish payroll  in Xero

Although Xero has integrated payroll this does not work in Ireland, so we need to post a payroll journal by clicking 
 

    • Accounting

 

    • Manual Journals

 

    • Your journal will then 

 

    • DR – Wages and salaries (P&L) Gross Wages

 

    • CR -Wage Control Account (BS) Net Wages

 

    • CR Employee Tax payable (BS) Total tax, USC and PRSI
